Business Development Manager




Legacy Telecom Ltd are currently looking to recruit a professional Business Development Manager to join our small sales team in LEIGH, Greater Manchester. 

The role is to actively sell Hosted Telephony, Business Connectivity and Business Mobile plans and services , the role requires the candidate to be dynamic, self-motivated and ambitious.

We're concentrating on business in the Manchester, Liverpool and Cheshire areas, with an emphasis on "local company, supporting local businesses" 

We are looking to build a strong sales team and strengthen our abilities to expand the business. We are offering a basic salary with uncapped commission including an annual over target bonus.

The person in mind must be experienced in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, hardworking and target driven. The successful candidate will have curated data, self-source new leads, in order to build a pipeline of opportunities.


For the first 3 months we would offer a probationary salary of £22K - 24K  depending on experience, plus any commission, this will be negotiable after the probationary period. 

The right person should expect an OTE of £28K - £32K in the first year.  Commission rates are: 30% for new business and for the first 6 months we'll pay 25% therafter. Allowing the new starter to get established and offering a helping hand with the higher commission rate.

Our working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 4:30pm. 

Initially you will receive 20 days holiday in addition to the 8 UK Bank Holidays. For achieving candidates additional holidays will be provided along with Company Health Plan and a pay review after 3 months.
