Cisco announced the Cisco Excess Used Product Offering, where they sell refurbished Cisco products through a select group of Excess resellers. Legacy have access to the Cisco Excess hardware.

Key information about Cisco’s Excess used product offering

• All products sourced from Cisco’s Excess used inventory are certified and designated with a “-WS” at the end of the part number, meaning you can avoid counterfeit hardware
• All products in the Excess used inventory have a valid version of the IOS loaded and are relicensed by Cisco
• All products are fully functional and may include minor cosmetic imperfections, but are available at much lower cost
• All products are eligible for Smart Net Total Care (SNTC) support
